Controller
VECTO, a sole trader, SIREN 882 086 705, 200 rue de la Croix Nivert, 75015 Paris, is the controller of personal data collected through Densem.
Data we process
When you use the converter without an account, we process the uploaded file, the instruction given to Iacopo, technical logs needed to run the job, and cookie identifiers used to return your task and apply usage limits.
If you open a Business workspace, this also includes account data (identity, email, organisation) handled with Clerk, the jobs and files in your workspace, and, where billing is enabled, payment data handled by Stripe.
We also store the display language you choose or that we detect.
If you use the site guide chat and agree to be contacted, we store your name, email address and described need so we can follow up. That conversation is not used to train models.
Purposes and legal bases
We use this data to run the requested conversion, secure access to your files, operate the Business workspace and, where relevant, bill successful conversions. The legal basis is performance of the service you request and, for security and usage limits, our legitimate interest in protecting the service.
Your files and instructions are not used to train artificial-intelligence models.
When you tick the guide-chat consent box, we use your name, email and described need to contact you about Densem. The legal basis is consent, which you may withdraw.
Retention
For a conversion without an account, input files, output files and the related task are kept for 24 hours by default, then deleted.
In a Business workspace, input and output files are deleted 48 hours after completion or failure, unless a support claim holds them.
Guide-chat leads are kept until you ask us to erase them or they are no longer needed for follow-up.
Recipients
Data is processed on Amazon Web Services EMEA SARL infrastructure. Business authentication is provided by Clerk. Payments, when enabled, are handled by Stripe. These providers act only to deliver their service.
Some of them may transfer data outside the European Union. Such transfers rely on the safeguards provided by the GDPR, including standard contractual clauses.
Your rights
You may request access, rectification, erasure, restriction or portability of your data, and object to processing based on legitimate interest. To exercise these rights, write to VECTO at the registered office address.
You may also lodge a complaint with the CNIL (cnil.fr).
Cookies
The site uses only cookies required to operate: a language cookie, a visitor cookie for public converter limits, and an access cookie for each guest task. They are not used for advertising.
On the Business workspace, Clerk and Stripe may set their own authentication or payment cookies.
